WHAT WE DO

The Engineering team at Seatfrog deliver products that are delightful to use and driven by customer needs. Our platform spans native mobile apps, APIs and data dashboards all driven by our machine-learning algorithms.

We’ve built integrations with some of the biggest travel platforms around the world, and we’re looking for a client-facing, solutions focussed Backend Engineer to join our integration team in our London office.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As part of the Integrations team, you’ll be working closely with technical analysts and senior client stakeholders to scope, define and build integrations that connect Seatfrog with travel partners across the globe.

You’ll also be responsible for:

Scoping solutions and creating integration plans inline as part of a cross-functional launch strategy.

Breaking down your project into clear deliverables, and working with implementation managers to help deliver your project on time, on budget.

Close collaboration with other product teams for seamless client onboarding and a smooth launch.

Writing and running automated tests to shorten your integration cycles and improve code quality.

Supporting developers across product teams on other development tasks as required and mentoring other team members.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

A degree in computer science or equivalent, and 5+ years relevant experience in a variety of programming languages.

A passion for new technology, are program language agnostic and able to pick up new languages quickly.

You are mindful of security and handling sensitive data.

You have a solid understanding of Git and its workflows, writing test code comes as second nature.

You have worked with a wide variety of technologies across front-end, back-end, devops and product development.

Great written and verbal communication skills that allow you to discuss problems and develop solutions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience in gathering and documenting functional and technical solutions.

Experience in pair programming a plus.
